What Bob FFFFound #6 “iPhone Photography”

December 7, 2009

Recently, while on a trip to New York City, I realized just how apt a stand in the iPhone can be as a camera. The instant editing and sharing coupled with the “carry everywhere” abilities of the device found me using it more than my SLR.

The moment is captured, composed and contributed to the web in a matter of minutes. These ubiquitous gadgets carry the infectious quality and mood of the vintage poloroid experience.  The iPhone captures everything I love about simple photography: overexposure, blurred  motion, and a lomographic color palette. Honestly I barely use my iPhone for actual “phone” activities.. it’s increasingly becoming my creative portal to the world.

Well, enjoy these photos from great iPhone Photographers…
