HDR Project – Brigantine, New Jersey

Hey,

Every now and then I stumble upon a good idea. Usually i run in fear, but sometimes I let the Scottish (William Wallace-esque) side take over. Though that doesn’t involve face paint and inspirational speech… Still this could be a “monumentous” occasion.

By now I’m sure you have picked up on my love for High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. I shot some RAW photos in Brigantine a few days ago, a panorama in fact. As I was processing these photos I was sparked… this happens everytime I take my jacket off when i have my earbuds in. I paused and regained my composure, again I was sparked.. this time… pure genius.

A simple place with a over the top representation. Brigantine sits next to a loud mouthed city, Atlantic City. I could always slip into AC and take a few shots of the casinos and the avenues.. but I wanted to show a place that holds real beauty. So here we go… the “Brigantine in HDR” project begins.
